If you order products from us or are accessing the Bonus Program couriers, mail handlers will be aware of the address as they must handle your packages.  In addition, An Post, UPS, FedEx or other trusted couriers may have to track the parcel through their systems and so will need to use your data. This is essential to get your parcel to you and unavoidable.

At no point do we allow other third parties access to your information unless we are using a Content Delivery Network (CDN), in which case it remains secure and inaccessible as it transfers to you.  In the event we are forced to recover the site following a data breach then our server provider and other tech companies may be drafted to assist the recovery.  This will be detailed in the email we circulate to you, where possible in advance, and if not as soon as possible.  These companies will not have the right to use third-party providers unless we are fully aware and can advise you of the same.

.

What data breach procedures are in place?

.

We do everything we can to ensure there is no breach of data but realistically no site can guarantee absolute impenetrability.    Therefore, we would like to say;

If we are warned of a data breach the first thing, we do is liaise with the reporting person and validate the reality of the report.  If that is then validated in the event of a data breach:

We will suspend all access to the site to all members and staff unless necessary to the review.

Provide an updated info-page so everyone is aware of what is happening and when.

Ensure that all accounts are forced to reset their passwords once re-secured.

Report the breach to the relevant bodies within 72 hours of awareness.

Resolve the matter and produce a report made available on our site and to any bodies following an investigation.

Ensure our members have coupons applied to their accounts to make up for time lost on accounts.

If a breach is found and real, the OSJ will reward that member with 10,000 OSJ Points

.

Data Reporting

.

If a data breach is suspected any member including staff, make a report through this page here and this will prompt the response to gather further data if necessary.

.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data?

.

We upgrade and downgrade your account in accordance with your requests to up or downgrade.

In the event a Think Tank or a Member is suspected of breaching the terms of the site we will suspend their account, legally retain the data whilst it is reviewed by a team member and if found in clear breach take the necessary action as decided upon by the staff member.  We run an extremely strict site in terms of rules because we do not tolerate barriers to others success or much else that can cause any harm or negativity.  This is the Home of the OSJ and as such we treat people with the same due respect if we were face to face.

In addition.  We use community moderation.  Thus, if a certain amount of people flags a comment, post or anything else where there is a flag it will be permanently deleted.  This helps us keep good manners as members and certainly watches the time of anyone else.  Repeat offenders of flagged incidents can have their accounts terminated at the discretion of the OSJ team.

We gate crash groups.  Thus, if we so feel it is necessary to monitor a Think Tank we will by joining the group as an administrator and demoting all other administrators until we are satisfied that those in the group are acting within the rules.  We will then reinstate the original administrator or delete the group.

.

If you wish to report something, we would be glad to hear from you and members can do so here.

.

Thanks for keeping our community safe and well, we are most grateful.
